7. Web Analysis

7.1 Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies,” text files stored on your computer that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will, however, be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide further services related to website usage and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software accordingly; however, we point out that you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent in this case. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of these data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by clicking the following link.

An opt-out cookie will be set, which prevents future collection of your data when visiting this website: <a href="javascript:gaOptout()">Deactivate Google Analytics</a>

We would like to point out that Google Analytics has been extended on this website by the code “anonymizeIp” to ensure anonymized collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).

7.2 Google AdWords

Our website uses the Google AdWords service to display advertisements. Google AdWords uses cookies to collect anonymous data. The data collected includes events related to your activities on our website (e.g., the number of pages viewed, products viewed on the page, your search queries on our website). Additionally, information that may include sociodemographic data such as age range and events related to Google AdWords ad-serving activities, such as the number of ads shown to you through cookies, may be collected. Google AdWords does not, however, collect personal data. Detailed information on data collection by Google AdWords can also be found in the Google AdWords privacy policy. In your internet browser settings, you have the option to prevent the cookies mentioned from being stored on your computer.

However, please note that you may not be able to use all functions of our website to their full extent in this case. On the website Your Online Choices, you can opt-out of personalized advertising by, among others, Google AdWords.

Our website uses the tracking FAST via the Google tool “Tag Manager.” This is used to correctly attribute the success of an advertising medium. Only non-personal parameters are aggregated (browser settings, timezone, CPU class, color depth, browser language). Data processing when using Google Ads/Microsoft Ads usually includes the order number and the order cart value, and additionally transmits the following values: ID (sequential number), ClickID, purchase time, currency, conversion name (shop order or lead). All collected data is automatically deleted after 90 days. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

8. Social Media Plugins

8.1 Facebook Plugin (Like Button)

Our pages integrate plugins from the social network Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. You can recognize the Facebook plugins by the Facebook logo or the “Like Button” (“Like”) on our page. An overview of the Facebook plugins can be found here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.

When you visit our pages, a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server is established via the plugin. This allows Facebook to receive the information that you have visited our

page with your IP address. If you click the Facebook “Like Button”/“Like” while logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of our pages to your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to assign your visit to our pages to your user account. If you are logged in, a direct association of the data with the Facebook profile is possible. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or how Facebook uses it. For more information, please refer to Facebook’s privacy policy at http://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php.

If you do not want Facebook to associate your visit to our pages with your Facebook user account, please log out of your Facebook account.

8.2 Instagram

Our pages use services of Instagram Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA. If you are logged into your Instagram account, you can link the content of our page to your Instagram profile by clicking the Instagram button. This will allow your visit to our page to be associated with your Instagram account. If you do not want this, please log out of Instagram before visiting our page.

For more information, please visit http://instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/

8.3 Twitter

Our website uses so-called social plugins (“plugins”) from the microblogging service Twitter, operated by Twitter Inc., 1355 Market St, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA (“Twitter”). The plugins are marked with a Twitter logo, such as a blue “Twitter bird.” An overview of the Twitter plugins and their appearance can be found here: https://twitter.com/about/resources/buttons

When you visit a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to Twitter’s servers. The content of the plugin is directly transmitted by Twitter to your browser and integrated into the page. This integration allows Twitter to receive the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Twitter profile or are not logged into Twitter. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to a Twitter server in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged into Twitter, Twitter can directly associate your visit to our website with your Twitter account. If you interact with the plugins, such as by clicking the “Tweet” button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Twitter server and stored there. The information is also published on your Twitter account and shown to your contacts.

For details on the purpose and scope of data collection, further processing and use of data by Twitter, as well as your rights and settings options to protect your privacy, please refer to Twitter’s privacy policy: https://twitter.com/privacy

If you do not want Twitter to directly associate the data collected through our website with your Twitter account, you must log out of Twitter before visiting our website. You can also completely prevent the loading of Twitter plugins with browser add-ons, such as the script blocker “NoScript” (http://noscript.net/).

8.4 YouTube

Our website uses plugins from YouTube, operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. This informs the YouTube server about which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can directly associate your browsing behavior with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. Using YouTube is in the interest of an attractive presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest according to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. For more information on handling user data, please refer to YouTube’s privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/en/policies/privacy.

The website may contain hyperlinks to and from third-party websites. If you follow a hyperlink to one of these websites, please note that we have no responsibility or liability for the content or privacy practices of those websites.

If you have any questions regarding the processing of your personal data by us, you can contact us at any time.

10. Data Security

We use suitable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
