1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts between us and our customers in the online shop www.khs.net, unless otherwise agreed or legally mandatory.
2. Contract partner
The purchase contract is concluded with KHS e. K. represented by Olaf Schmiemann, Gewerbeallee 4, 45478 Mülheim a. d. Ruhr.

4. Conclusion of the contract
The product images in the online shop constitute an invitation to submit a purchase offer. Individual products can be added to the shopping cart by clicking the "Shopping Cart" button and removed again if necessary using the delete function. Input errors can be corrected at any time before completing the ordering process using the usual keyboard and mouse functions. By entering personal data and clicking the "order with obligation to pay" button in the final step of the ordering process, a binding order for the goods contained in the shopping cart is placed.
Confirmation of receipt of the order is sent immediately after submission by email. This does not yet constitute acceptance of the contract. The contract is accepted by sending an order confirmation via email or by delivering the goods within five days. If you do not receive the order confirmation or delivery within five days, you are no longer bound by your order. Input errors can be detected before the final submission of the offer by reviewing the summary order overview and corrected on the previous page by clicking the browser's "Back" button.
5. Prices and Shipping Costs
The prices listed on the product pages are final prices. They include the statutory VAT and other price components.
You are responsible for the shipping costs separately. The exact amount of the costs incurred is displayed during the ordering process and can be found in the shipping cost table under the link "Shipping Costs."
For deliveries outside the EU, additional customs duties and taxes may apply. Please refer to the following for details:

Note: Weekends and public holidays applicable in NRW are not considered in the calculation of the delivery date, as no goods are dispatched on these days. Therefore, express shipping cannot be considered for orders placed after 3 p.m. before a holiday or all day on the holiday itself.
6. Payment Methods
You have the following payment options:
- Bank transfer
- PayPal
- Credit card
- Cash on delivery
For payment methods bank transfer, transfer via PayPal, payment is due immediately after conclusion of the contract. After receipt of the purchase price, the items will be delivered to the customer.
If you pay via PayPal, credit card, or direct debit, your account will be charged after the contract is concluded.
If you pay by cash on delivery, an additional fee of 5.00 EUR will be charged. This is due upon handover of the goods to you or an authorized representative and must be paid together with the purchase price to the shipping company.
7. Delivery, Delivery Terms
Delivery is made by shipping to the delivery address you provided.
Please refer to the information on the respective product for the delivery time.
8. Transport Damage
If you are ever delivered an item that shows obvious transport damage, please report this immediately to the carrier and inform us. If you do not do this, it has no consequences for your statutory warranty rights; this only serves to facilitate enforcement of any claims against the transport company.
9. Storage of the contract text
We store the order data and the contract text. For security reasons, the contract text is no longer accessible via the Internet after the order is placed. Using your browser's print function, you have the option to save the text yourself. You can view the GTC at any time on this page. After completing the order, the order data and the GTC including the cancellation policy and the cancellation form will be sent to you by email.
10. Warranty/Guarantee
The warranty is provided within the framework of the statutory provisions for currently 24 months / 2 years from the date of purchase. We grant an additional guarantee on our KHS tungsten carbide rings. We grant a 25-year guarantee on scratching of the tungsten carbide on KHS tungsten carbide rings. However, this guarantee does not apply to the black IP coating due to wear.
You can use our service for defects in KHS products at any time. Within the statutory period, our service can be provided within the framework of the statutory warranty provisions.
11. Final Provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. The provisions on the UN Sales Convention do not apply. This choice of law applies to consumers only to the extent that it does not deprive them of more favorable provisions of the law of the state in which they have their habitual residence. The contract language is German.
If any provision of these General Terms and Conditions is invalid, the contract shall remain valid in all other respects. The relevant statutory provisions shall apply in place of the invalid provision.
