The KHS Fire Starter with its built in H3-Tritium Gas Light is an extremly useful piece of equipment for igniting fires. By using the integrated ceramic blade one can produce, through friction, fire igniting sparks. These sparks can have an extreme temperature up to over 2000 °C. -

Functions
Inside the KHS Firestarter one will find a rod made out of Ferrocerium that is easily removed by turning the robust cap. Located on the upper, outside housing of the firestarter is a built-in ceramic blade. When one rubs the rod lengthwise against the ceramic blade bright sparks, of extreme high temperature, are released. It is with the sparks that one can ignite a fire. -
